Widespread Complaints of Wraith’s Finishing Malfunction Label Her as ‘Completely Bugged’ in Apex Legends

Apex Legends players have asserted that a peculiar finishing malfunction involving Wraith proves the character is “completely bugged.” Apex Legends Season 17 was released by the developer Respawn Entertainment on May 9 this week. The most notable aspect of this update was adding a new character called Ballistic.

However, the new season has not been without its share of problems. Users have reported issues with features such as Ranked Mode and the Firing Range since the upgrade was initially made available. Several concerns pertaining specifically to the character have also recently begun to surface. Here’s hoping that the newly discovered Wraith bug won’t spread significantly.

The finisher problem in Apex Legends demonstrates that Wraith has “completely bugged”

A user uploaded video evidence of a completing move glitch that affects the gameplay of the Wraith character to the Apex subreddit. The finisher’s cinematic plays out as it typically would: the Legend hits their opponent several times, opens a spatial gap, and then throws them within.

The difficulty is that the fissure may be seen on the screen even after the sequence has finished playing. To make matters worse, the rift image appears to be tied to the player. Which means that they are unable to move without causing the visuals to become distorted.

The original poster claims that utilizing Tactical or Ultimate skills did not resolve the annoying bug. Instead, the user had to exit the game and start it again. Following this message, additional users commented on the numerous issues affecting Wraith during this season. One user of Reddit commented, “Wraith is completely broken, lmao.” Poor kid, shooting when knocked, smuggling firearms in Fight Night, and experiencing visual anomalies.

Someone else said in the post, “Wraith is the most broken character this season.” Someone else commented that her persistent problems have resulted in them having no choice but to switch to Mirage for the time being. It is interesting to note that a veteran player of Apex Legends has stated that the finisher error that Wraith experiences is an “old bug… I assumed it was fixed, but now [it’s] broken again.” No information is available regarding whether or when Respawn will fix this issue, along with the others pertaining to Wraith.
