Uncovering the Apex Legends Easter Egg: Assassin’s Creed Reference in the Firing Range

Apex Legends’ developers have sneakily included a reference to Assassin’s Creed in the game’s firing range in the form of an Easter egg. This reference grants players the ability to Synchronize while at the firing range.  In most first-person shooter games, the firing range is an excellent location for the developers to hide a humorous Easter egg or connect to another part of the game’s narrative. Valorant has been doing it for a long time, utilizing it as a location to hide Easter eggs and tease future characters.

That is nothing new for the game Apex Legends. The Apex Firing Range is the location of a few Easter Eggs hidden there. From inciting fights between training dummies to using a private third-person mode to the current obsession with finding Nessie plushies, which has completely taken over the community, there is a lot to keep up with.  There is, however, a second Easter egg that players may have overlooked throughout their journey. This Easter egg is a clever homage to the video game Assassin’s Creed that enables you to sync in the Firing Range.

It was discovered by Twitter user events that if you climb the hill in the northeast corner of the area, sit on top of the red flag, and wait for a few seconds. Also, the game will do something called a “synchronization” of the range. This is similar to the synchronization concept in the Assassin’s Creed video games.

Karen Lee, the Senior Community Manager for Apex, has confirmed the existence of the Easter Egg in relation to Unisoft’s open-world game. Saying things like, “Two games that are near and dear to my heart, Assassins — please find some time to sync at our viewpoint.” expressing my gratitude, in particular to a specific developer, for including it.

Ian Holstead, who worked as a gameplay programmer for Apex, is the one who was responsible for making the Easter Egg a reality. Holstead appears to be in charge of the Easter Egg hunts within the range since he has been dropping cryptic clues all over his Twitter account regarding the location of the missing Nessies.
