Trios Mode Returns: Fortnite Reinstates Beloved Game Mode After Brief Hiatus

A couple of weeks ago, Epic Games decided to put the Trios mode of Fortnite on indefinite hiatus; however, the much-loved option is now available. Apex Legends and other games inspired Fortnite’s Trios, which were introduced during Chapter 2 of the game. The mode’s meteoric rise to prominence took less time than one might think.

Consequently, many Fortnite players left in disbelief two weeks ago when Epic Games abruptly removed Trios in Battle Royale and Zero Build. Those individuals who opted to compete in teams of three were the source of a significant portion of the tension and misunderstanding. Epic has already made a U-turn, which will come as welcome news to the categories above players.

After a brief absence, the Trios mode has been reinstated in Fortnite

According to a tweet by the Fortnite-focused account HYPEX on Twitter, Trios is now again available across all of the game’s non-competitive modes. It is still being determined whether or not it will come back for a limited time or stay for good this time. Nevertheless, from a cursory perusal of the comments made in response to HYPEX’s article, most of the community is excited about this piece of news.

Twitter users have been very vocal in their disagreement with the decision to remove Trios from the platform. While this happens, others continue to voice their confusion regarding the vaulting mode. Some people believe Epic Games released Trios to prevent servers from becoming too crowded with players when they introduced Ranked Play. Despite this, players dedicated to Fortnite are delighted with the most recent development.

Trios was a mode in Fortnite that was only available for a limited period until it became a permanent addition in Chapter 2, Season 5 of the game. Users immediately liked the mode when they saw that forming four teams to participate in section play would no longer be necessary. For the sake of three-person crews everywhere, let’s keep our fingers crossed that Trios won’t go away shortly.
