Tips for finding Authentic Sinistea in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Trainers tracking down the elusive Authentic Sinistea have some excellent tips from a sharp-eyed Pokemon Scarlet and Violet enthusiast. Monsters in the universe of Pokemon can take on various forms. Players can catch and use many of Pokemon’s numerous conditions in the Pokedex; certain states even change stats in unique ways.

However, some forms are purely aesthetic, as in Maushold’s Family of Three States or Dudunsparce’s 3-segment form. Due to the chance of coming across these uncommon varieties, some enthusiasts like testing their mettle by searching for them outdoors. Now that Generation 9’s Pokedex identifies the locations where the Authentic form can be found in the wild, one astute Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trainer has provided a helpful tip regarding finding Authentic Sinistea.

A fan of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet offers a helpful Sinistea tip

“PSA: Authentic sinistea will one spawn in one area,” read the title of a Reddit post by user Pluto_Charon on the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet subreddit. A trainer will typically find the Black Tea Pokemon listed as spawning in two places: the outskirts of Zapapico and Alfornada when they check a regular Sinistea’s Pokedex record

However, the Pokedex entry for Authentic Sinistea indicates that it can be found near Alfornada and adds that it is “very rarely seen.” This suggests that trainers who attempted to capture Authentic Sinistea around Zapapico spent a lot of time. In the comments, fans added even more helpful details to help anyone who wanted to catch this unusual variation for themselves. One trainer said, “And outbreaks will only have the phony form.”

In case anyone was curious, another player remarked, “Btw for anyone wondering, the best way to find one is to use your camera to look under their skirts(a lot easier when on foot), instead of catching a million phony in the hopes one will be antique lol.” Authentic Sinistea, for those who may not be aware, has a minimal marking on the underside of the teacup where the Ghost Pokemon rests. Trainers looking for an Authentic Sinistea to either complete their collection or fill out their Pokedex should find it easy with the help of these helpful hints.
