The Overlooked Lachmann 556 Emerges as the TTK Champion in Warzone 2

There is an overlooked choice that outperforms the standard ISO Hemlock in terms of TTK if you’re searching for an assault rifle to utilize in Warzone 2.  Due to their quick TTK and utter absence of recoil at all ranges, a few weapons have dominated the meta in Warzone 2 over the past few months.

One assault rifle that filled the void left after LMGs fell out of favor was the ISO Hemlock. It performs well at all ranges, doesn’t have much recoil, and has remained a relatively good option despite a few nerfs. The Hemlock returned to prominence with the Season 3 Reloaded adjustments, and many players started using it as their primary weapon once more. However, it isn’t the uncontested TTK king and needs more than several less well-known competitors.

Best Lachmann 556 build for TTK in Warzone 2 Season 3

One such analog is the Lachmann 556, which Warzone 2 expert WhosImmortal highlighted in his video from May 18 and claimed to be one of the game’s top-tier weapons.  The YouTuber noted that the Lachmann is “lethal” following its buff, saying it ends up being the third-best TTK overall. However, in the mid-range, it is in a league.

But unlike others, his setup has been adjusted for more control and precision, giving it a “non-existent” recoil. That entails avoiding the more well-liked Sakin Tread muzzle builds in favor of the FTAC Ripper under the barrel and Echoless-80.

  • Muzzle: Echoless-80 (-0.72, +0.48)
  • Barrel: 15.9″ Lachmann Rapp Barrel (+0.26, +0.26)
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper (+0.44, +0.27)
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4 (-1.35, -1.65)
  • Magazine: 40-Round Mag

The 556 had been a little “slept on” recently, but its popularity has risen, as WhosImmortal notes. Its usage rate of about 7%, as reported by WZRanked statistics, places it among the top 10 most frequently used weapons.  Since the Season 3 Reloaded update, other YouTubers have also been supporting it. Thus, it should keep moving up the ranks. If you board right away, you can avoid being left behind.
