IceManIsaac’s Creative Use of Redeploy Balloon Leaves Opponent Flabbergasted in Warzone 2 Ranked Play

During a Warzone 2 Ranked Play match, IceManIsaac came up with a novel application for a redeploy balloon, which ruined the day for an unlucky player. During the second season of Warzone Pacific, redeployed balloons were utilized around Caldera. These allowed gamers to zipline up to a balloon in the air and then glide from a significant height to a location of their choosing.

The players were able to take the valuable item with them at all times so that they could use it anytime they were in a tight spot, thanks to the Portable Redeploy Balloons. Apex Legends was the impetus for its development, enabling players to reposition themselves and significantly increasing the gaming pace. In the second season of Warzone 2, the balloons were replaced by drones, and the game brought the feature to Ashika Island. In addition, Activision included redeployed drones in Al Mazrah, and IceManIsaac effectively used these new additions.

The redeployed drone kill took aback members of the Warzone 2 community

In Warzone 2, players have the ability to destroy redeployed drones, which prevents other players from employing the drones. IceManIsaac was successful in shooting down a redeployed drone, and the device just so occurred to drop on the head of an adversary who was unaware of its presence and kill them.

The unthinkable kill took Isaac aback, and he was at a loss for words as to how he should respond. He released a shocked gasp before becoming mute as he attempted to process what had just happened. Later, the YouTuber explained what transpired by posting the following message on Twitter: “I wanted to freak out at the moment and explain what happened, but the boys were locked in.”

Ted Timmins, Senior Creative Director for Warzone 2, pleaded with the developers, saying, “We need to see the kill cam of this.” Please, if you were the one who did it, share it! The community members were at a loss to understand how the victim must have reacted. “I can’t help but wonder how his controller looked after that.” A third user commented, “Imagine seeing the redeploy falling towards you when your last up.”

Even though this differs from the purpose for which redeployed drones were designed, at least we now know it is possible to utilize them in this way. If you want to prevent a similar catastrophe the next time you participate in a Warzone 2 Ranked Play match, keeping your head moving in all directions is in your best interest.
