Pokemon Go users are speculating about Diancie’s power level and potential evolutions at release after it was announced at Go Fest via a leak. Diancie, a legendary Pokemon, has proven challenging to find in Pokemon Go. The mobile game has not yet added the Jewel Pokemon, which made its début in Generation 6.
But things will soon change. Fans were eager to try and get Diancie into their collections when it announced on one localized Go homepage that she would make her debut there. The strength level of the Pokemon at launch has come up due to this leak, and some players are worried about how Niantic will ultimately deploy Diancie in Pokemon Go.
Diancie for Pokemon Go was leaked
A user reported that a leaked advertisement on the French Pokemon Go website said that Diancie would be arriving at the mobile game in a Reddit post on the Silph Road community. Although there is no specific information regarding when Diancie will be included in Pokemon Go, the commercial stated clearly that the eagerly anticipated Pokemon would be appearing at the Go Fest, which is scheduled to take place in August 2023.
Some people weren’t surprised by the post; one said it was “pretty obvious” that the legendary Jewel Pokemon would emerge in a season dubbed “Hidden Gems.” The release of Diancie did, however, cause some players some trepidation. Mega Diancie might be included with the Legendary, a user questioned.
Another questioned whether Diancie’s defining technique, Diamond Storm, would be included. Some mythical creatures, like Jirarchi’s Doom Desire, have had their signature move included in the move set when acquired through careful research, but other animals have not been as fortunate. We will need to wait for that response for the time being. According to Niantic, the 2023 Go Fest will take place in August and climax with a global event on August 26–27.
