Sentinels sign Xenial to replace RamBeau for second split of 2023 ALGS in Apex Legends
Angello’ Xenial’ Cadenas will replace Beau ‘RamBeau’ Sheidy for the Sentinels for the second and final split of the 2023 Apex Legends Global Series. RamBeau, a fan favorite, announced his retirement from Apex Legends esports after the second round of play in the North American ALGS competition and that the Sentinels will be signing a successor.
Xenial’s 22-year-old deal with the Sentinels was verified hours after the Battlefy roster disclosed that the team would play with Xenial. Since Xenial’s departure, Oxygen Esports has not revealed a replacement for him on the team, and they will play again on April 23.
Also, Xenial is a seasoned Apex Legends player in SpaceStation’s run to sixth place at the 2022 ALGS Championship. Also, after SpaceStation announced its roster in early 2023, the company left the esports industry. Group A and Group B will resume their ALGS match on April 16. Group A consists of Sentinels, while Group C consists of Oxygen. North America’s ALGS regular season will wrap up on May 7.
Sentinels continue to make squad changes in the middle of the season in Apex Legends.
RamBeau’s announcement, less than a month after announcing his retirement, that he will return to competitive play with Dark Zero may further complicate matters.
In addition, in the wake of the team’s roster cuts on January 23, 2023, Rambeau joined the Sentinels with Cole ‘Rkn’ Prommel and Keon ‘Keon’ Berghout. The Guard had given the squad permission to look for other chances, so they were on the lookout for a new base. On April 16, fans will view the results of the midseason ALGS roster shuffles.
Sentinels’ complete ALGS roster:
- Cole ‘Rkn’ Prommel
- Keon’ Keon’ Berghout
- Angello ‘Xenial’ Cadenas
