Evil Geniuses Partners with Thunderpick as New Sponsor, Aims to Revive CS:GO Performance

Thunderpick will now support Evil Geniuses’ CS:GO teams as the organization’s newest esports sponsor, thanks to a new partnership. Evil Geniuses is one of the most established esports companies. However, the team’s performance in CS:GO has been declined recently.

EG has been successful in CS:GO since their return in 2019, when they won multiple events; however, following their last first-place finish at ESL One: Cologne in 2020, they have yet to be victorious in any competitions. But Evil Geniuses are keeping their fingers crossed that the 2023 circuit will be more good, and they are hopeful that their most recent alliance will serve as the first step toward achievement.

The cryptocurrency betting site Evil Geniuses has partnered with Thunderpick

In a news statement, EG said it would be forming a new collaboration with Thunderpick, the most prominent online cryptocurrency betting platform. Viewers can place wagers on live esports tournaments such as League of Legends, CS:GO, Dota 2, and Overwatch. Thunderpick is a cryptocurrency betting platform “made by gamers for gamers.”

The formation of this collaboration will result in Thunderpick being promoted to the position of “Marquee Partner” for both of Evil Geniuses’ CS:GO teams. Along with being the first formal sponsorship of a women’s CS:GO squad, their collaboration with Evil Geniuses Gold also holds the distinction of being the first of its kind. Nicole LaPointe Jameson, the Chief Executive Officer of EG, explained why Thundertalk was the appropriate partner for the organization.

“We are delighted to partner with Thunderpick, a company that shares our enthusiasm for developing new experiences for esports fans, and we look forward to working together to bring these experiences to life…The dedication of Thunderpick to delivering a trustworthy and innovative betting environment will provide a new avenue for participant participation during events. Kelly Sanders, the Head of Strategy for Thunderpick, shared the thoughts expressed by Jameson. This agreement marks a critical milestone in our efforts to promote a broader and more diverse community within esports and gaming. “Thunderpick is devoted to supporting and increasing players’ ability to achieve both as gamers and as creators and individuals. We are excited to take advantage of our platform and provide fans of CS:GO with fresh and engaging new content while simultaneously expanding the reach of our brand to a broader audience.
