Nickmercs Gives Positive First Impression of Warzone 2 Ranked Play

A whole day of Ranked Play in Warzone 2 left NICKMERCS with a favorable first impression. Warzone 2’s Ranked Play debuted with Season 3 Reloaded. The eagerly anticipated competitive game mode offers players seven categories to progress through and a comprehensive skill grading system. Earning a spot in the coveted Top 250, which recognizes the best of the best, is the ultimate objective of the game mode.

The Battle Royale sequel’s iteration sparked attention like MW2 Ranked Play had done. Professionals, amateurs, and content creators entered a competition to see who could first get to the Top 250. And a few committed competitors, including JoeWo, climbed the summit. Nick, who couldn’t help himself, astonished himself by entering the contest.

NICKMERCS offers his initial thoughts on Warzone 2 ranked play

NICKMERCS stopped playing Apex Legends ALGS to return to Warzone 2. The fact that Nick and TimTheTatman were the first two content creators in Warzone history to obtain an Operator skin added a little more motivation. Nick ripped through the Ranked Play lobby areas while decked out in his MFAM operator skin and provided his initial thoughts. I have nothing against Call of Duty. I find it disgusting that I am in the game, and appreciate that a whole playlist was provided. They required this. I’d want to dabble a bit if they could elaborate on this.

Nick outlined the significance of Ranked Play to the Call of Duty community. “Call of Duty has taken a significant step in the right way with this. Nobody could disagree with it. They have a lot of work to do. The neighborhood has not been content recently. But it is an important day for them. The MFAM Army chief suggested that Apex Legends may take inspiration from how Warzone 2 worked with content producers.

“I believe professional esports organizations need to be compensated better, and they need to tap into that whole area better if they can,” says the author. Warzone 2 Ranked Play created an excellent first impression, but only time will tell how long the excitement train keeps chugging along.
