A massive datamine for Pokemon Go has uncovered critical upcoming changes
Data was mined from the version 269 update sent out for Pokemon Go. And the PokeMiners Twitter account live-tweeted its findings so that the community could follow along.
Notably, one of the first and most essential pieces of information the group uncovered concerned the Master Ball. The team has stated in their tweets that the recipient of this powerful PokeBall would be treated to “a special reward cutscene and camera” when they use it.
The development team also discovered that there would be a unique cutscene that would play whenever trainers threw a Master Ball. Players would initially receive it by completing a mission in order to obtain it.
Next, the group discovered that “Several Shadow Raid GUIs and visual additions are now being added as well,” in addition to a plethora of brand-new “libraries and configs” for Shadow Raids and Bosses. The team obtained this information.
New options have been introduced to Pokemon Go+ Plus, which is scheduled to be released in July 2023. This is the most recent and significant piece of information to emerge as a result of the leak.
Other less significant updates included:
- A new warning appears when trainers are down to their final Poke Ball.
- Further options to remove goods that are no longer useful.
- Buttons that show the visibility of Pokemon Contests and Coins.
Niantic has numerous plans in store for Pokemon Go over the remainder of the year 2023.
