Players of the warlock class have had it with the addition of loincloths to new Destiny 2 gear, demanding that Bungie give them the cosmetics they are due. While Guardians love to brag about their exotic weapons, god rolls, and high-stat roll armor, people tend to speak more about the aesthetics.
Every new Dungeon, Season, and Raid in Destiny 2 delivers at least one new piece of armor for each class since cosmetics are such a significant thing there. Considering the Eververse shop, it is clear how crucial searching is to gamers. Warlock mains are fighting Bungie and appealing for the loincloth period to end in their search for better attire.
Warlock gamers in Destiny 2 are no longer interested in loincloths
A dedicated Destiny 2 player shared their opinions on the status of Warlock fashion on Reddit. Why they dislike loincloths, or “d*ck towels,” as they term them, in more detail: They wrote, “It’s always the same narrative every time we obtain a new warlock chest. The top of the armor is visible, and it looks fantastic! Attractive chest, relaxed shoulders, and awe-inspiring collar. Additionally, the robes are a lovely accent that links the equipment together. They are a fair length and similarly well constructed.
“And then… the d*ck towel,” the OP said—the c*ck fabric. The padding is p*ssy. In the center of the legs is a godforsaken strip of material that only appears to bring attention to itself. Rarely is it decorated uniquely. The essay continues by denouncing loincloths and listing their alleged shortcomings: “As Warlocks, we need to strike. We must form a union. Till d*ck towels are no longer used.
The notion gained popularity as seen by one player’s response: “Dude, I concur. Those crotch clothes don’t assist, which is problematic since our clothing is so constricting. “I remember the olden days when every time a pair of Hunter boots would release, they would seemingly always have those F**KING TOE SHOES,” a fervent supporter said. Shoes with toes are out! “D*ck towels, down with ’em!” Others criticized the way Destiny’s loincloths were worn, saying, “It wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t always protrude out an extra couple of inches.” The impending Solstice of Heroes Summer event, which will debut three armor sets and a new Strand Rocket Launcher, probably spurred me to write this piece.
