Nadeshot Expresses Frustration on Twitter as Sentinels Defeat 100 Thieves in VCT Americas LCQ

Sentinels won the VCT Americas LCQ competition with a score of 2-1 against 100 Thieves. After the Sentinels’ defeat, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, the CEO and owner of 100 Thieves, vented his anger on Twitter. The VCT Americas LCQ tournament’s Sentinels vs. 100 Thieves clash received the most attention since both teams had devoted fan bases. Weeks before the game, brave athletes promoted it as a crucial clash for the tournament and maybe even the losing team’s offseason.

Sentinels prevailed in the series and advanced in the competition, while 100 Thieves were defeated and now face a protracted offseason. As of this writing, no offseason competitions have been scheduled for the area, and the VCT free-agent period won’t begin until Valorant Champions is over at the end of August.

Tweets from Nadeshot after the Sentinels’ victory

Following the conclusion of the series, the majority of the Valorant community and 100T CEO and owner Nadeshot used Twitter to make veiled comments about the contest.

When he saw LA Thieves lost at CDL Champs 2023 last month, he posted a picture of himself in a red gradient. He then reacted to Sentinels’ post-game tweet, which included a meme of him from the impending “Oppenheimer” film. The joke alludes to the possibility of Nadeshot “blowing up” the current 100 Thieves Valorant lineup, something he has done previously. In response, the CEO of 100T shared a meme from the forthcoming film “Barbie” that featured the star Ben Affleck with the term “depressed” written over his head.

While the community and Nadeshot are having a good time online, the 100 Thieves’ Valorant squad may soon see lineup changes. Results-wise, the roster had little impact this season. The team exited VCT LOCK//IN in the third round and could not advance to Valorant Champions, VCT Masters Tokyo, or VCT Americas Playoffs. However, the CEO still needs to confirm, and the offseason is still months away.
