The next tank hero expected to debut in Season 8 has already been heavily teased by the Overwatch 2 devs. Overwatch 2 Invasion will launch in August, bringing long-awaited PvE missions, a new primary game mode, and even a support hero. The developers of Overwatch 2 have been hastily creating new supports to keep up with the quantity of tank and DPS options available, as new heroes are being launched every other season. Season 8 will witness the debut of a new tank in the wake of the simultaneous release of Lifeweaver and another enigmatic support healer. Jared Neuss, the executive producer, hinted at the tank’s identity in an interview, which is fantastic news for fans.
Devs have already teased the new tank hero for Overwatch 2
