ImperialHal’s Commitment to Apex Legends Despite Uncertainty: Navigating the Battle Royale’s Future
TSM’s Philip “ImperialHal” Dosen has disclosed that he intends to continue playing Apex Legends for an extended period, even though he is unsure about the course the game is taking. ImperialHal has distanced himself somewhat from the battle royale game Apex Legends throughout the past few months. The TSM star, named Most Valuable Player at the ALGS finals held in London in February and won the award, has also been increasingly vocal in his criticism of the battle royale and some of Respawn’s alterations.
Most recently, he voiced his displeasure with the developers over their decision to weaken Seer. Hal believed that it went in the opposite direction and that the recon legend received some bonus; this is something he has also suggested is a concern heading into LAN. Even if he is uncertain about the overall course, the battle royale is taking. He still intends to participate in it for a considerable amount of time.
ImperialHal wants to keep playing Apex Legends but needs to know where the battle royale will go.
It was discussed during Hal’s stream on June 30 when Samora questioned him about how much longer he sees himself playing Apex and whether or not he plans to continue playing the game. “I’ve been playing for the past four years, which, while it may seem like a long time, is not that long. “I want to play Apex for as long as I can because it’s my job, and I want to make the most money out of it,” he added, stressing that it would be difficult to begin again in a different title. “I want to make the most money out of it.” “I’m going to try for as long as I can, but right now, in terms of the path the game takes, it’s not where I want it to go. However, I don’t have much control over that.”
As mentioned, Hal had taken a break from competing in Apex, but these days he is focusing almost exclusively on the game’s battle royale mode. Therefore, it’s not like he’s actively looking for a way out.
The TSM star has recently been making some suggestions regarding some adjustments that Respawn might make to boost the game’s overall health. Still, those suggestions will likely be brushed aside, given how close Season 18 is to being played.
