Pokemon Home Glitch: An Unusual Leveling Dilemma for Transferred Pokemon

Some users’ monsters in the Pokemon Home app appeared incredibly weak or strong due to a recent visual glitch. There have been some graphic bugs that have appeared in Pokemon Go over the past few weeks. The Pokemon Home companion experienced a new glitch this week that seemed to harm monsters directly uploaded into the storage system via Go. This one didn’t harm any Pokemon housed permanently, but it temporarily altered their levels.

A bug in the Pokemon Home app that affects levels

On June 15, a member of the Silph Road subreddit discovered that levels of monsters entered into the storage system were affected by a flaw in the Pokemon Home app. Some Pokemon transmitted from Pokemon Go is showing as being at Level 1 on mobile devices.

This bug also affected the Home for Nintendo Switch edition. Joe Merrick of Serebii noted on Twitter that Pokemon from Go was shown as being at level 100 on the Switch. Not all Pokemon transferred to Home via the mobile game was impacted by this bug, Merrick pointed out in a different comment.

Since Pokemon that have been transferred from Go appear stable as of late Thursday morning, the problem has been resolved. However, this defect did generate some intriguing responses. Some gamers expressed reluctance while moving Pokemon to the Home app. Because they were worried that the afflicted monsters would sustain irreparable harm. Conversely, a few gamers recalled the previous GTS system features that let users submit “troll” trade requests, like Lv. 1 legendary, to clog up online system searches. On Reddit, someone commented, “Home GTS scammers, count your days.”

A second player added, “At last, I’m going to be able to obtain all those ‘level 1 to 10’ dittos to trade all those GTS legendaries I saw when I was 11 wooooo!” to a player who had previously expressed a similar attitude. On the same day that Pokemon Go’s Element Cup went live, this problem also emerged. People who require assistance for the tournament can look at our best team guide for it.
