Will XDefiant be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One?
Ubisoft has officially confirmed the upcoming release of XDefiant for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A developer formally shared this information on the XDefiant official Discord channel and indicated that “last-gen is actively being worked on.” XDefiant’s official Discord server is where the announcement was made.
“We’ve seen your questions about last-gen platform support. The previous generation’s games are undergoing active development to provide a gameplay experience that is on par with the current generation. We will launch them as soon as they are ready, and we will keep you all updated on this matter in the days leading up to the debut!” Fans of Xbox One and PS4 may not be able to experience the launch of XDefiant at the same time as the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions, which are scheduled for the summer of 2023; nonetheless, we are aware that it will arrive at some point.
