Delayed Pokemon Home Support for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Leaves Fans Waiting

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will have Pokemon Home functionality in a future software update, however, on a different day than the first planned day. Players may move and save their Pokemon across other games using the free Pokemon Home app, which is accessible on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch.

Home support is typically added later than immediately when a new Pokemon game is released. Four months after the game’s debut, home support was added for Legends: Arceus. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Home support, initially scheduled to launch in early 2023, has taken longer than anticipated. Fans still have a little while to wait, even though the players will soon get what they desire.

Pokemon Home will soon support Scarlet and Violet

All fans received an explanation from the official Pokemon Twitter account on May 19, 2023. The tweet read, “Earlier, we announced Pokémon HOME version 3.0.0 will launch on May 23/24, but it was a mistake. The precise release date, however, has not yet been disclosed. However, 3.0.0 will be released soon, so keep checking our pages for updates.

Unfortunately, the new release date for this Pokemon Home update is unknown, so fans will have to be patient and wait for further information to come out. The Pokemon Company first declared that Pokemon Home would be updated on May 24, 2023, to enable Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Thanks to the update, players can move Pokemon between the Home and Gen 9 games quickly.

Pokémon HOME will be updated to version 3.0.0 on May 23, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. PDT, and players will be able to link Pokémon HOME with Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, according to the original statement. The Pokemon Company clarified these details further: “Players will be able to transport Pokémon between Pokémon HOME freely. And their game if they link Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet to Pokémon HOME. Keep in mind that Pokémon can only be transferred to games where they appear.

Pokemon Home now allows two-way transfers for Sword & Shield, Brillant Diamond & Shining Pearl, and Legends: Arceus, as well as one-way transfers from Pokemon Go, Bank, and Let’s Go Eevee/Pikachu. Two-way transfers will be supported by Scarlet & Violet, allowing users to send and receive Pokemon to and from Pokemon Home. When you first bring a Pokemon from Scarlet or Violet into your house, a mystery gift containing Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly with secret skills will be given to you. In the Pokemon Home app for mobile, you can redeem this gift.
